Salvador Dalí is, probably, our most famous artist. Visit in one day the surrealist triangle of the painter: the Museum, the Castle and the House. Sacrebleu!

DESCRIPTION

Love Salvador Dalí? Are you passionate about his surreal paintings? Don’t think twice and visit the 3 museums on the famous painter in one day on the only tour that makes it possible!

We will start with the special Gala-Dalí Castle, the least visited museum of the four located in the small town of Púbol, in the Baix Empordà. Bought and restored by Dalí, did you know that Gala accepted it as a gift on the condition that Salvador would come visit only if she invited him in writing?

Then we will go to the star of the crown: the Dalí Theatre-Museum. One of the most important museums in the country and, without a doubt, the most important in Girona, it was built in an old theater in the painter’s hometown: Figueres. You will also have time to enter the Jewels Museum and see the ones that Dalí designed.

We will then continue towards Cadaqués, where we will have time for lunch, walk around the village and enjoy some time by the sea before heading to Portlligat to visit the Dalí House-Museum. This way we will have concluded the painter’s triangle!

Here are a few more details about the visits to each of the museums on the tour:
  5 Gala-Dalí Castle: entry 10:30 0r 17:00, 1h visit. Self-guided tour.
  5 Dalí Theatre-Museum & Jewels: entry 12:15 or 14:30, 1.5h visit. Self-guided tour.
  5 Dalí House-Museum: entry 16:00 aprox, 1h guided visit.

Museum tickets are not included, but we will arrange the purchase. Their price changes throughout the year. Girona Explorers will provide you with a self-guided tour of the two museums where there is no guided tour inside.
